Shoes don't fit? Fix the fit in 4 steps.

October 27, 2026

1. Print fit frames first.

A fit frame is your shoe with windows cut out: a low rim around the sole, a heel cup, and straps over the toes, the ball and the top of the foot. Fit frames use about a quarter to a third less TPU than shoes. In step 3 "What to make", choose "Fit frames". Print them, put them on and stand up.

2. Change the spot that is too tight or too loose.

Check four spots: the toe room, the ball of your foot, the top of your foot and the heel. On the last step, open "More adjustments" and change the spot that is wrong, in steps of 2 mm. Press "Make again", then print new fit frames or your shoes.

3. Add a side photo of your foot.

heelo uses your side photo to set the height over the top of your foot and over your big toe. In step 1, choose "A tracing of my feet" to add a side photo.

4. Check your size.

When the whole shoe is too long, too short, too narrow or too wide, go back to step 2 "Your feet" and check your size and width.
